The Use of Methacrylate Partitions in Bars and Restaurants

What was fine seems to be a problem in today’s world. Dining in your favorite restaurant has become rather impossible. Taking a seat next to other individuals or being in a crowded area is far riskier than one can imagine. There goes your weekend and all your nights out in bars, catching up with your friends while dancing along to the upbeat songs, which is only something you could wish for now.

An odd image isn’t it? Something new, but makes you feel safe – Most businesses are permitted to open and operate according to the strict standard operating procedures (SOP). During the recent reopening after the lockdown, Manuel Gil, an hotelier in Madrid, had partitioned walls to alter his game in order to serve his customers safely.

In his interview with Telemadrid Manuel explained the many models costing from about 600 to 700 euros as they are made of methacrylate separators. These separators are used as a temporary preventative measure in order to keep an individual two meters away from others. The result of the methacrylate separators has been magnificent as Italy has shown interest in this solution as they believe it would bring customers to their feet to dine in restaurants while feeling safe when fighting through Covid-19. Our lives have turned into a system and this has become the ‘new normal’ – It only took one pandemic to change the world.
