Singapore, 6 October 2026 – World of Safety & Health Asia (WSHAsia) and Bedok Safety Group (BSG) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen collaboration in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), professional development, industry engagement, and the sharing of practical WSH knowledge and good practices.

The partnership brings together WSHAsia’s regional platform and BSG’s practitioner community, creating new opportunities for safety professionals to exchange knowledge, learn from one another and connect with the wider industry.

Turning Practical Experience into Shared Knowledge

BSG has been actively bringing WSH professionals together through seminars, knowledge-sharing sessions, industry engagement and opportunities for practitioners to learn from one another. Its strength lies in its community of practitioners and their willingness to share practical WSH knowledge and experiences.

Through the new partnership, both organisations aim to take this exchange further—creating a two-way flow of knowledge between BSG’s practitioner network and the wider WSH community.

“BSG has always been built on a strong community of WSH practitioners and the willingness to share practical knowledge and experiences. With WSHAsia on board, we see an opportunity to take this further. It is a two-way partnership—bringing more knowledge and professional connections into BSG, while bringing our members’ practical experiences, case studies, and good practices to a wider WSH community”

Steven Tan, Chairman of BSG

Under the MOU, WSHAsia and BSG may collaborate across several areas, including the exchange of WSH good practices, case studies, emerging risks, regulatory developments and lessons learned. Both parties will also explore opportunities to support seminars, workshops, webinars, technical visits and other learning activities for WSH professionals.

The collaboration will extend to industry outreach, connecting WSH professionals, organisations, institutions and other relevant stakeholders. Both organisations will also promote practical applications of technology, digitalisation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and other innovative WSH solutions, while showcasing meaningful WSH initiatives, achievements and good practices.

Sharing More, Reaching Further

An important part of the partnership will be the sharing of WSHAsia’s content with BSG’s practitioner community. BSG will share WSHAsia’s bi-monthly e-Magazine and monthly e-Newsletter through its communication channels, giving its members greater access to regional WSH developments, insights, and resources.

The exchange will also work in the other direction. BSG may contribute relevant safety articles, case studies, event updates, and good practices for consideration by WSHAsia for publication and sharing through its media platforms.

This two-way exchange allows practical experiences from the workplace to reach a wider audience, while bringing broader industry knowledge and perspectives back to practitioners.

“We believe some of the most valuable safety knowledge comes from the people who are actively applying it in the workplace. Our partnership with BSG gives us an opportunity to bring those practical experiences, case studies, and conversations closer to the wider WSH community, while creating more avenues for learning and professional development”

Raymond Wat, Founder of WSHAsia

Beyond knowledge exchange, the partnership will also focus on the continued development of the WSH profession.

Both organisations recognise the importance of engaging students and emerging WSH practitioners, with opportunities for mentoring, industry exposure and knowledge-sharing to help the next generation build their capabilities and develop a stronger connection with the profession.

Together, BSG and WSHAsia aim to create more opportunities for learning, professional development and industry connection—while encouraging the continued exchange of practical knowledge across the WSH community.

For BSG, the partnership provides an opportunity to extend the reach of its established practitioner platform.

For WSHAsia, it strengthens its connection with professionals who are actively shaping WSH practices on the ground.

BSG has built the platform. With WSHAsia on board, the partnership aims to extend its reach and create greater value for the WSH community.
