These products are the ideal choice for those working in environments where maintaining the best hygienic conditions is a must because the risks, represented by the possible proliferation of microbes and bacteria, are invisible to the human eye.
In fact, thanks to the antibacterial and antimicrobial Sanitized® treatment of the inner linings, the proliferation of any potentially harmful microorganism is prevented; In addition, the linings are provided with microchannel technology ensuring rapid transpiration and release of water vapor (sweat) and therefore a fitting always dry and clean. The uppers are instead made of waterrepellent microfiber allowing to wash the footwear in the washing machine, even frequently, thus constantly renewing the feeling of freshness and cleanliness.
The SANITARY & FOOD collection includes both models equipped with safety toe cap in composite material as well as steel; the first ones are injected on the innovative MICROLIGHT sole in which the midsole is made of polyurethane foam and the tread, whose design always guarantees the maximum slip resistance, is made of compact polyurethane but the compound of both materials is completely NEW. The new compounds developed by the R&D department ensure maximum lightness, flexibility and elasticity meaning total comfort for the wearer from the very first use, always complying with the chemical-physicalmechanical requirements of the European reference standards.
The footwear with steel toe cap has instead the traditional PU COMB SOLE that, being entirely made of polyurethane foam, is distinguished by the design of the tread characterized by a honeycomb structure ensuring maximum antislip functionality; the sole is also provided with antistatic, self-cleaning functionality and is resistant to both oils and greases.
