Singapore, 10 October 2024 – The World of Safety & Health Asia (WSHAsia) and the Singapore Institution of Safety Officers (SISO) are thrilled to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today at the SISO Bukit Merah Office. This partnership aims to revolutionise the workplace safety and health landscape by leveraging the strengths of both organisations to promote emerging trends and enhance safety benchmarks throughout Singapore.
The MOU signing coincides with Asia Pacific Safety Professional Week 2024, a significant event running from 7 to 11 October, highlighting the vital role of safety professionals in advancing workplace safety standards across the region.
The agreement was signed by Raymond Wat, Founder of WSHAsia, and Bernard Lew, President of SISO, in the presence of the SISO Executive Committee. It was witnessed by Winston Yew, MOM Ex-Officio, and attended by notable figures including SISO Vice President Eric Law, Assistant Honorary Secretary Mohd Marican Bin Ali Akbar, Honorary Treasurer Jason Emmanuel Tee, and Exco Members Roger Lim and Nicholas Ong.
