• Spotlight on Physical AI–Driven Innovations in Construction and Safety
  • Introducing the ‘Hyper Safety’ Paradigm: AI-Powered Risk Prediction and Control
  • Co-located with the Urban Safety Technology Expo: Expanding the Convergence of Industrial and Public Safety
  • Second Early-Bird Registration Open Until May 29: Discounts and Exclusive Benefits Available

The 2026 Korea Construction & Safety Expo (K-CONSAFETY EXPO 2026), a specialised exhibition focused on smart construction and safety technologies, will be held from October 14 to 16, at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 in Korea.

Reflecting one of the most critical industrial trends—AI Transformation (AX)—this year’s expo adopts the main theme: “Industrial & Construction AX Transformation and the Hyper Safety Platform”.
This theme signifies a paradigm shift beyond simple digitalisation, toward an era of Hyper Safety, where Artificial Intelligence proactively predicts risks and prevents accidents before they occur.

■ AI Reshaping Construction Sites: The Rise of Physical AI

The construction industry is rapidly embracing “Physical AI”, where generative AI converges with robotics to transform on-site operations.

At the expo, a wide range of field-applied AI solutions will be showcased, including:

  • Autonomous logistics and task robots
  • Wearable robots designed to prevent worker injuries
  • Quadruped inspection robots and drone-based safety inspection systems

These technologies are gaining attention as essential tools that replace high-risk tasks while simultaneously enhancing productivity and safety.

In particular, the Advanced Safety Pavilion will present key technologies from government-led smart construction pilot projects, such as:

  • Positioning systems for non-line-of-sight environments
  • Integrated AI monitoring platforms
  • Real-time accident prediction AI agents

■ Integration of Industrial and Public Safety: Expanding into “K-SAFETY WEEK”

The expo will be co-located with the 2026 Urban Safety Technology Expo, which focuses on public safety technologies such as:

  • Climate crisis response solutions
  • Smart city integrated control systems
  • Aging infrastructure maintenance technologies

Together, these events will form “K-SAFETY WEEK”, positioning itself as Korea’s largest integrated safety industry platform—covering everything from private construction sites to urban infrastructure and public safety.

■ A Business-Oriented Exhibition Delivering Tangible Results

A variety of business programmes will be organised to facilitate market expansion and real contract opportunities, including:

  • Construction Safety Leaders Forum (CSOC) with safety executives from major contractors
  • Guided docent tours for public procurement officials
  • Export consultation meetings with overseas buyers invited by KOTRA
  • Purchase consultation sessions with verified industry buyers
  • The 3rd K-Consafety Awards recognising innovation in safety

In 2025, the expo achieved approximately KRW 60 billion (USD ~45 million)in business consultation outcomes.

For 2026, further growth is expected, particularly driven by AX-based safety solutions.

■ Early Bird Discount Available Until May 29

Exhibitor registration is currently open. Companies applying by May 29 will receive a KRW 200,000 discount per booth.

Interested companies can submit their applications via the official website or contact the secretariat directly.

A KINTEX official stated:

“This expo serves as a key platform where government smart construction policies and industry demand for AI transformation converge. It offers participating companies a valuable opportunity to validate technologies and enter new markets simultaneously.”
