Martyn Campbell
Martyn Campbell is the Head of Wellbeing & Safety for the newly created Adelaide University, the largest tertiary education provider in Australia.
Creating a unified WHS system, he cares for 11,000 workers and 80,000 students, merging the WHS functions of The University of Adelaide and UniSA into a physically and psychosocially safe workplace.
He is also a global safety consultant, delivering exciting projects around the world, including psychosocial safety implementation, fatal hazards & critical risk frameworks, safety leader development, & executive coaching for sustained performance improvement in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea.
Martyn Campbell was the former Head of SafeWork SA and the South Australian WHS Regulator.
He was also the former Chair of the Heads of Workplace Safety Authorities (the collective body of all WHS Regulators in Australia and New Zealand), Secretary-General of the International Association of Labour Inspection (IALI – global professional body of WHS and Labour Regulators), and Board Member for Safe Work Australia.
Additionally, he is currently one of three Global Technical Advisors to IALI, Independent Advisory Board Member for SA Power Networks WHS Board, Advisory Board Member to Central Queensland University Appleton Institute, and Advisory Council Member to the International Safety Coaching Institute.
