List the Safety and Health achievements/contributions you have achieved in 2025.

In 2025, Jesson strengthened SMI’s structured behavioural safety framework by formalising injury-prevention protocols, emotional regulation drills, and rule-based accountability systems across all sports sessions. Over 800 children and youth were impacted through programmes designed to reduce aggression, unsafe conduct, and gender-based harm.

His preventive safety model enabled first-time players from high-risk backgrounds to safely compete at national-level futsal championships without major injury incidents. Structured mentoring discussions addressed substance avoidance, conflict management, and respect toward women, positioning sports as a proactive safety intervention.

SMI’s work received continued recognition, including the Global Sustainability Award 2025 and international acknowledgement for its gender-based violence prevention approach. Jesson’s contributions demonstrate how behavioural transformation can serve as a foundational pillar of long-term occupational and community safety.

Outline the Workplace Safety and Health initiatives that have been implemented by you in your workplace in 2025.

In 2025, Jesson implemented a “Behavioural Safety Through Sport” model within SMI. Each session incorporated mandatory warm-up and cool-down routines, injury-risk briefings, clear codes of conduct, and structured reflection circles. Emotional check-ins and conflict management guidelines were introduced to proactively manage behavioural risks.

Volunteer mentors were oriented on safeguarding practices, boundary management, and psychological safety to ensure structured and secure learning environments. Emphasis was placed on safe decision-making under pressure, discipline in competitive settings, and accountability within team dynamics.

These measures transformed sports activities into controlled safety ecosystems designed to prevent injuries, reduce behavioural incidents, and cultivate responsible conduct among participants.
