Focused efforts were made on high-risk activities such as working at height and temporary works, with stricter controls, improved supervision, and mandatory competency checks. He conducted multiple fire evacuation drills across project zones to strengthen emergency preparedness and response. A Monthly Safety Award Programme was introduced to recognise safety-conscious workers, boosting morale, and reinforcing safe behaviours. He also led structured toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and refresher training based on project needs and ISO 45001 standards. Regular audits and safety walks were carried out jointly with contractors and client representatives to ensure compliance with DM COCSP and Client requirements. He continued his active role as an IOSH Peer Review Panel Member and Mentor, guiding professionals on their IPD/PRI and CPD journeys. In his role as Sr. HSE Manager at BHNS Engineering Consultants, he has gone beyond traditional duties by implementing innovative initiatives such as behaviour-based safety programmes, multilingual awareness sessions, and recognition schemes like the Monthly Safety Award.
