In 2023, I continue to demonstrate exemplary leadership and innovation in the field of safety and health. Notable achievements include spearheading a remarkable growth in training services at KBA Training Centre Pte Ltd., reaching over hundreds of trainees globally. As the General Manager, I have significantly improved overall business performance year-on-year and streamlined work processes, resulting in an increase in efficiency. Furthermore, I played a pivotal role in developing industrial hygiene and occupational health policies, ensuring the highest standards of safety across all projects.

Throughout 2023, I led the implementation of various workplace safety and health initiatives aimed at fostering a culture of safety. At KBA Training Centre Pte Ltd., I work hard to maintain the high regards to KBAT as the preferred training provider in the region, consolidating data analytics for monthly updates on company objectives and KPIs. I also conducted internal incident/accident investigations and audits to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems.

My influencing capability played a crucial role in the successful implementation of these initiatives. Through effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, I garnered buy-in for QHSE initiatives aligned with the strategic priorities of the business. By leveraging adult learning principles, I facilitated impactful training programmes that empowered employees to prioritise safety in their daily operations.

Through participation in committees, conferences, and professional associations, I continue to advocate for best practices in safety and health, earning the respect and admiration of peers and colleagues alike.
