About Logendran Raj A/L Ayakanu
My name is Logendran Raj, completed Masters in Science of Occupational Safety and Health, has been in this OSH field for about 6 years, and is currently in Oil & Gas industry working with local company known as Total Dynamic Engineering SDN BHD as oil and gas service providers for other oil and gas clients. I hhave successfully led the team to complete 200K of safe working manhours in terms of plant constructions and turnarounds.

Attained Masters in Science in Occupational Safety and Health, completed major turnaround of oil and gas refinery with safe working manhours of 80K.
Outline the Workplace Safety and Health initiatives that have been implemented by you in your workplace in 2023.
Have successfully engaged with local authorities in providing their insight in terms of trainings and company's improvement in chemical, noise, and ergonomic controls.
Describe and support in detail on how your influencing capability has assisted in the successful implementation of these initiatives.
Influenced top management in taking part in conducting workplace audits as well as providing better OSH solutions which kept the external audit records cleans with ZERO NC as well as maintained workplace accident and incident statistics to maintained in zero.
Describe and provide support on how your initiative impacted the Safety and Health management and performance of your workplace/community/industry that was above and beyond.
The impacts that I've created in the company was in the way of involving non-OSH personnel in the mid-tiers of the company to participate and engaged which led to improved health and wellbeing, increased productivity, greater work participation and increased social inclusion, lower absenteeism rates, and increased individual, team, and organisational resilience.
Less workplace injury leads to less workers' compensation claim.

Earning a shot in winning the WSHAsia Safety Influencer Award will be a big achievement not only to me, but to my company as whole, which will lead to more commitment and teamwork from our end to maintain the excel records that we have so far.
