I established and led the quarterly employee safety engagement program, focusing on targeted campaigns aligned with injury trends from 2022. In Q1, multiple training sessions and hazard hunts on power industrial truck and hand safety prevention were rolled out. Q2 saw the introduction of Life Saving Rules online training modules and risk identification initiatives. In Q3, I organised an EHS Fair, collaborating with local authorities and healthcare providers to raise OSH awareness among employees. Q4 involved the implementation of an Ergonomic AI tool and Ergonomic Cup, addressing ergonomic risks by proactively connecting with employees, establishing priorities, and driving solutions to create a safer workplace environment. A total of 35 quick fixes and 2 ergonomic CAPEX projects were implemented, earning recognition as a finalist in the company's Ergo Cup competition.
Leading a cross-functional team, I conducted a plantwide machine guarding risk assessment, resulting in the closure of high and medium-risk machine guarding findings as per the assessment, achieving a total progression of 76% (339 gaps resolved) against the target of 75%.
