In your opinion, what are the attributes of a safety influencer? Do share with us on how you have demonstrated these attributes in your daily work that will earn you the recognition of a WSHAsia Safety Influencer Award Winner in your workplace/community/industry.

Kindness, Care, Honesty are some attributes that a safety influencer should have. One of my most recommended method in implementing HSE culture which I have practised for many years is that the open door policy to everyone that I have worked with. If you are not sure, ask and I enjoy mentoring fellow safety practitioners on their HSE journey. I will take the time to eat with my workers and technicians so that I can have a better understanding of their pains because the biggest impacts are on the workforce that is doing the majority of the work. From those feedback and open door discussions, you can have a better influence on the team by relating it to their daily lives.
