Initiative Description
In 2019, our company was appointed as a specialist contractor for new build chimney construction under HKE Lamma Power Station extension works. The chimney superstructure consists of a circular reinforced concrete windshield with a diameter of 19.5M and height about 102M. There are 5 floor platforms, including the roof, within the windshield to provide access for flue gas monitoring and general maintenance works. The chimney is designed to accommodate 2 steel flues each serves a power plant unit (Unit 12-13). The chimney is also equipped with a maintenance lift, a steel staircase, and a switch room.
