The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
Singapore in collaboration with Safety, Health & Environment Training and Consultancy Pte
Ltd. will be organizing a Half Day Crane Safety Seminar on 06 th October 2023 at NTU@One-
north.

The central theme of the seminar is “Enhancing Lifting Operation Safety –Australia and
Singapore Perspective. Australian speakers from The Crane Industry Council of Australia
(CICA) will share the initiative taken in Australia for enhancing lifting operations and speakers
from Bullivants and Fullton Hogans will share about rigging and slinging resources.
Singapore speakers will share about the upliftment of lifting operations competency, good
practices for the safe operation of tower cranes and the use of advanced technology in permit
application in lifting operations in the Singapore context.
