The “Advanced Certificate in Lifting Operations” align with our National WSH 2028 vision as all injury and ill-health are preventable.
This course is developed to provide the basic engineering concept used in the lifting operations, advanced rigging techniques, concept of identifying ground stability for crane siting and develop comprehensive Risk Assessment and Lifting Plan. This course also provides an opportunity for candidates to have hands-on practical training on load rigging via various rigging techniques.
The course aim is to equip WSH professional (e.g. WSHO, WSHC, Lifting team personnel/Lifting Supervisor) with skills and knowledge required to attain the next advanced level in lifting operations and increasing professionalism in lifting industries. It also provides with a viable career advancement pathway and meeting one of the entry requirements to attend the 5 days Appointed Person (AP) – Lifting Operations Training Course.
